Applications
We supply a wide range of rubber lined butterfly valves for district cooling systems. These valves are distinguished by robust design, corrosive resistance, minimum condensation and long, maintenance free life thanks to the vulcanised lining concept. Suitable for many water qualities, disinfection systems and chemicals, our valves are used in:
- Transmission lines (also buried service)
- Pumping sytems (suction and pressure)
- Control and Scada systems
- Disinfection and water treatment systems

Special features are:
Disc material suitable and full corrosionproof for many waterqualities (even brackish or desalinated water).
Easy insulation because of compact design energy saving as the rubber liner is a good isolator.

Wouter Witzel rubberlined butterflyvalves
Wouter Witzel EuroValve butterfly valves for use in the district cooling industry meet this market’s specific demands. There is a wide choice of materials and coating systems on offer. A material often used for the valve disc is corrosion proof and wear resistant duplex stainless steel. This material is very suitable for use in e.g. membrane filtration or demineralised water, because of its resistance to chemicals. What’s more it offers sufficient strength when pressure rises up to 25 bar. Additionally, we offer many sealing materials, such as EPDM, NBR, Viton and silicon rubber. As a producer we make it possible for butterfly valves to be supplied with coating that matches your specifications.With diameters of DN 40 up to even DN 2200 and an impressive range of butterfly valves in types such as wafer, semi-lug, tapped-lug, u-section, single flange and double flange we have every right to call our product offer complete. An important characteristic of our butterfly valves is the centric design and the vulcansed sealing. As a result our butterfly valves offer important advantages, such as a low and reliable operating moment, being suitable for many operating cycles and excellent protection of the valve casing. Dynaxe
The high-quality, durable butterfly valve for heavy duty applications. The district cooling process implies high pressures, high temperatures and water with aggressive chemicals sometimes making it impossible for rubber lined butterfly valves to be used. Our Dynaxe high performance butterfly valves have a doubly excentric design and are available in many high-quality materials, including stainless steel 316, duplex steel and Alubronze. Actuators
Another important component of the butterfly valve is the actuator. Besides manual operation by means of a lever or gear unit we offer a wide range of automatic actuators and accessories such as terminal switches, regulating valves and positioners for control valves. In district cooling process automation it is of the utmost importance that the right type of actuator be chosen. Wouter Witzel EuroValve has many years of specific experience in this area and can give you the advice you need to make a choice that is both responsible and affordable. Besides our own electric and pneumatic actuators we can supply almost any brand. We are also very experienced in assembling, setting and testing actuators. Approvals for this application is, for example, PED, CSTB, KIWA, WRAS, DVGW.
